Season 11’s Tower – or The Gauntlet as it’s officially called – is nothing like your usual dungeon grind. It’s fast, it’s fixed for a week, and it’s all about chasing score instead of just staying alive. Think less about survival runs and more about racing for points in a time limit. You’ll be moving through a set map where every second you shave off matters. The score, called Proofs of Might, comes from killing mobs and opening chests, but what really changes the game are the Pillars dotted around the place. Pull big packs, drag them to a score-multiplying Pillar, pop it, then blow everything up in one go. Misuse a Pillar? That can sink your run. Boss shrines respawn too – hitting them is just free points. If you want a top rank, you’ll want a plan, not just raw speed. Some players literally draw paths through the map. And yeah, movement speed bonuses on boots or amulets are worth their weight in Diablo 4 gold.

Getting to grips with the map is a big part of it. Because everyone’s playing the same layout each week, the trick is learning which areas are stuffed with mobs and how they connect. Your first few attempts should be recon – check chokepoints, see where you can scoop up multiple packs without backtracking. Watch the clock. You’ll often find the best runs chain kills into another Pillar without wasting momentum. The pace is full throttle from start to finish, so a slow build or a pause to regen can really hurt your final score.

For your build, aggressively offensive setups dominate. Death isn’t permanent here – it’ll just cost a slice of your score and time – so heavy defense is overrated. Glass cannon builds that wipe screens in seconds shine brightest. Rogues with Twisting Blades, Sorcs with insane AoE, or any spec that melts groups before they can touch you are ideal. Resource generation perks matter more than you’d expect because every pause lowers your kill flow. Gear and paragon boards should be tuned to pump out damage and keep you mobile, avoiding moments where you’re stuck waiting for cooldowns.

The rewards make it worth the grind. Score well enough and you’ll earn different Seals that reflect your skill – like the Seal of the Blooded or the Seal of the Steadfast. Climb into the weekly top 100 and you’ll score a Cache of Trials with solid loot. Crack the top 10? Your character’s name gets etched forever into the Hall of the Ancients for all to see.

That’s a permanent brag in Sanctuary and the real prize many chase. Plus, you’ve got the gear bonuses from grabbing u4gm Diablo 4 items to push you higher every week.
