I have created my server, but i cant seem to connect to the batch file to op myself.

I have a forge server. My startserver.bat thing where it allocates a certain amount of ram is:

@echo off
java -Xms1G -Xmx3G -jar forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1558-1.7.10-universal.jar -o true
pause

remember to change the “-Xms1G -Xmx3G” depending on your needs

Oh yea also change “forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1558-1.7.10-universal.jar” to whatever the name of your server file is. I do not know what to do if your server file is .exe, but that is for .jar

If you can use local host IP then the server works, you just need to port forward it so it is public.

OR

What I did was installed a software called “Hamachi”, which allows me to play with anyone I have on it, but not random people. only add close friends on it though if you use hamachi.

remember, dude, if I were you I would research all this stuff before you just go ahead and do it. Sure Mc is fun, but you should know what you are doing when setting up a server. There are plenty of YouTube videos explaining how hamachi works and how to set servers up with it. If you don’t want to watch any videos, I suggest reading the following just so you generally understand what hamachi is:

“Hamachi is a VPN client. It creates a Virtual Private Network over a public network like the Internet. When this client runs, it implements a virtual network adapter, and you’re given an additional IP address that identifies you on any virtual network you join.” – http://www.howtogeek.com

And remember- you can only let people on your server if they added you on hamachi.
