This is another step towards the new RR DMD game logic. The ones of you that are here since the days of the HA, (Head Admin) and then the staff, know that we are always evolving.
Well there are three concepts that I want to explain.
RR DMD as a game needs to have a balance between the military units, the government, and the markets. The new structure puts IC, the Intel Corps unit, in charge of the OP Outpost Police.
TF is disbanded because it had too much Force and too little Task. :) TF is absorbed by IC. Inside IC the high ranked members overlook all ranked members (like TF used to), while the low rank IC’s are in charge of the training.
TL Trade Lords Unit will deal with the Economics and EB Expanse Bureau with the politics, to give a place to non-military player progress tree branches. (TL and EB units will remain inactive for now)
The lore of the game, the back story, supports all these concepts and is fully developed but I can not share it yet, not until I have some visual parts done.
The Skill’s Badges (former shields or top rank) will provide the player a bonus or power up in abilities but only when in use.
Example: Lets say Luke ranks up until Elite, so he gets to choose one Skill Badge, and he picks Gunner. So if he loads the G badge (in a body device) the gunner’s abilities kick in by increasing his heavy weapon criticals, accuracy, speed or whatever bonus.
Skill Badges belong to the reputation system, and can not be purchased with credits (in-game currency).
All this will make more sense when the game is out.
