“Light profanity is tolerated but not welcome.” according to the RR Rules post. is this legitimately real? or is it outdated rules? or is someone scamming? I just want to know if profanity is actually allowed or not

Depends

Firstly these rules have been written by Rodol Phito himself aka the owner and sole developer of RR mod/game.

Second the rules have been updated to fit our needs but the gist is the same (thanks to pyrowolf for updating them). Which can be found here : https://rivalrebels.com/RRgame/forum/t/rr-rulesrevised

Third

Light profanity is tolerated however there are certain limits.It can’t be used in a racist/sexist context.They cant be used to target someone directly (however as with anything use your common sense).And so on.

Fourth

Use your common sense !!! This forum has a lot of underage/young people and ask yourself whether you would swear in front of a 5 year old.

Adding on to what Michal said, you should know what is right and what isnt. Also why does it matter whether or not its allowed? Not like you’ll die if you cant swear.

Just adding to Michal and Frost, do not confuse the RR server Rules (mc server) with the RR Forum/Chat website terms and conditions.

Did you not read what Rodol posted? “Just adding to Michal and Frost, do not confuse the RR server Rules (mc server) with the RR Forum/Chat website terms and conditions.”  This states they are separate.

Also, why is it so important to figure out the nitty gritty details? Your use of profanity will be judged by the RR admins. If they feels it violates the terms and conditions/rules then I will be dealt with accordingly.
