  • Should I free the RR passwords?

    Hey, after 5 years of enforcing the passwords I’m planning to free them to everybody.

    Reasons: The people that already helped me out and got the password will get special contend on the RR DMD game and/or free access depending on the Rank.

    Second the passwords have been cracked or leaked 4 times already, I could make longer hashes and stuff but I’m more inclined to let everybody mess around with that instead.

    So, am I missing something? Is it ok with you guys?

    I say keep them it will make more people want to join the forums and become admin to work for it but if you do want make it so that everybody can get the passes make it like some kind of easter egg in the mod that makes a book with all the passes have a rare chance of spawning in a dungeon or being dropped by a defeated megalodion

    I say give them for free. Many people apply just to get them not caring about actually being useful.

    In my opinion passwords are obsolete they have been cracked numerous times and well RR People who have done their part for RR will be rewarded anyways.I agree with this idea.

    Sounds fine, much people applied for admin just to get them, but the people that really got them (helped RR, were active etc) must get a special reward

    ok but one question how will rod disk levels work if there are no paswords

    He’s not getting rid of them. He would only be giving out all the passes without needing to apply for admin.

    oh ok I’d still rather they be hidden somewhere in the mod where you get the passes from doing certian things

    Are you still planning on doing this Rodol? May i recommend if you do to maybe add them to a written book in an update to the mod? Not everyone visits the forums so it may be a good idea.

    If you do then there is no point in having different rank rod disks, also you might as well take the passwords out of the next update if everyone knows them.

    I agree here and if there are any ligit clasic RR games still goint to be held than why relese them when a rep rod disk is op as it is but its up too you but i like them a secret

    I’ve never really understood the reason why us admins should get an advantage over other players while playing. It isn’t cosmetic or anything, it does more damage, and (most) normal players can’t get it.

    Well, I kind of disagree with the just cosmetic difference concept. In the RR DMD game there will be no admins, but the Outpost Police will have a real advantage (in terms of weapons and vehicles) when on duty, to serve and protect :D

    I have the same question and more of a cool reason if the rod disk is going to be featured in R.R.D.M.D. in my opinion the passwords would be like in all games exclusive to people that actually own the passwords and be more of a special weapon. and an example of something like this is cosmetics that are given to people in some games or another example would be like Capes that devs have or other people have for MC.
