Generally speaking the mod isn’t supported anymore , but we do have a game that is pretty similar to RR.
April 3, 2019 at 12:43 pm #22186Perhaps a way to purchase AI soldiers that would be able to follow battle plans laid out by the players and do simple tasks such as sentry duties , they’d be similiar to a player stat wise but a competent player could likely outsmart them , for balacing reasons they’d have to be equipped and there would be a certain cap on how many such machines can be deployed by a player/faction.Another idea could be automation modules for ships so that they can serve a similiar role in combat. However Im not sure about the long term impact on the servers.Basically I believe this would allow for larger scale battles and the ability for smaller factions to be able to stand up to larger factions in direct combat.
February 12, 2019 at 12:31 pm #21914Rodol I have a tad of a technical question , personally I only really use Linux but would like to take part in the first wave , I have a question , is the anticheat already baked into the game? I am asking due to the fact that I considered using proton/WINE and there were reports of them having issues with /breaking anticheats and I also would like to ask whether using a compatibility layer is against rule no. 21 “You will not directly or indirectly disable, circumvent, or otherwise interfere with the operation of software designed to prevent or report the use of Cheats.” if it is indeed against the rules I will simply quickly install windows , but I just wanted to ask .For the record I have no intention of cheating I just wanted to find a solution till the linux edition is out.
February 9, 2019 at 11:27 am #21881I see so time to reinstall win10 then , also if I may ask how large is the game?
February 6, 2019 at 7:54 am #21862I think it make sense too all things considered , also Rodol I have a hypothethical question (I dont think it was asked before) , will it be possible to upgrade ones edition of the game ? Say that the overlord has certain features which a lower tier doesnt have and some player really wants them , will it be possible to upgrade in such a way after the purchase?
January 28, 2019 at 10:33 am #21786Thanks for the early access , I’ll do my best to help with squashing the bugs , but there’s one question I’d like to ask , is it possible to buy the game for someone like with minecraft gift codes? Excuse if it was explained somewhere but I’m still catching up.
January 28, 2019 at 2:41 am #21784Thanks I’ve read the new policy (sorry that it took me a while but Im pretty ill rn) , anyways I fully understand and agree with the new unit policy and I’d like to be only an OP + FM if possible.

February 28, 2018 at 10:57 pm #18874Yeah but is it “light profanity” , if so then Frost did nothing wrong AFAIK ”
- Light profanity is tolerated but not welcome.”
Let’s not derail the topic though , I support net neutrality personally , though I live outside of USA (not a citizen either) , how could I help?
February 24, 2018 at 1:03 am #18862Happy birthday mate and get your badge soon .

February 18, 2018 at 9:48 pm #18831@Rodol Hey Rodol , I would like to ask about what sort of hardware will we need to run the RR game well(low 720p 30 fps )?
February 2, 2018 at 5:45 am #18765Fake News Network
January 30, 2018 at 2:15 pm #18757Me too (I love ubuntu) though I’m not sure about Unix since its more of a standard nowadays (correct me if I’m wrong) whilst there are some spinoffs like BSD I doubt they are worth porting to.Also which linux distros will receive the game (android is technically Linux )?
January 26, 2018 at 12:49 pm #18726Well I’m not qualified to answer this (I really dislike anime) , but they are cute like really cute , ultra cute. Well people love cute things (I personally don’t but I’m an exception xD).
January 26, 2018 at 12:45 pm #18725About the monetization l , I am not an expert nor is this a part of job here at RR , though I’d like to suggest a few things
1.Start a Kickstarter campaign (when the game is developed enough). This way DmD will have more money and you may be able to hire someone and copyright the RR as a franchise
2.Maybe a monthly payment plan ? Again I’m no expert, but maybe a monthly plan could be good (a small discount for RR staff hopefully 😀?)
3.No paid items that give players an advantage over the others.Cosmetics could be fine but imo everyone should pay a base amount to maintain the game (a discount for RR staff please xD).On a completely serious note please don’t make it so that players with more money can ruin the experience.

January 5, 2018 at 12:27 pm #18574Give me his account name , evidence that he threatened you and he can be reported.
January 5, 2018 at 11:19 am #18569Calm down
You haven’t done anything willingly to compromise RR passwords . Your buddy on the other hand can be banned for
1.blackmail
2.Attempting to leak the passwords
Tl;Dr as long as you haven’t done anything you are safe.
January 3, 2018 at 6:07 am #18552I know what you mean (also don’t worry I won’t start a flame war over politics ).As of right now RR is okay (03.01.2018).Even if ISPs start throttling us Rodol could fight back . After FCC looses authority over ISPs , there will still be the FTC which hopefully will protect us from unfair treatment.”The FTC, though, has a decidedly mixed record when it comes to enforcement in the tech space. On the one hand, as former FTC chair Jon Leibowitz recently noted, the Commission has a robust record vis-à-vis ISPs, holding them accountable to promises made to their customers. That is a very good thing, setting a strong precedent for future action if and when an ISP acts in a truly harmful or anticompetitive manner.”
Also about the backlash I just meant that when ISPs do start destroying sites like RR , most Americans will likely protest against it.
Also it’s just a discussion beetwen us and should things go south , I’ll stop the salt war.(here’s the article I quoted https://www.forbes.com/sites/washingtonbytes/2017/12/15/the-game-is-on-the-ftc-tech-regulation-post-net-neutrality/#1874e034575a )
